Last 2014, I had spent more than a week enjoying the sights and sounds and taste, definitely taste, of Singapore! It was crazy for spending such a long time away for one destination, but it was totally worth the trip.
If you want to get a guide on how to make your own custom itinerary, you can read all about it here. That’s how I made this itinerary and it was a great success!
To make your lives easier, I had researched and found this cool 5 day City Pass inclusive of the entrance and transportation to Universal Studios.
Aside from saving a lot by getting discounted entrance fees to at least two attractions (which you can choose when to go), we made use of their free 2 day unlimited ride shuttles to get around the attractions and the city. Added bonus of an Open Top Bus night tour! Woohoo!
To give you an idea of how I put together the itinerary, it looked like this:
1st Day:
12.20pm Flight to Singapore
3.30 Arrive at Singapore
Check in Hotel
Rest Day/ Free Time
2nd Day:
9am Singapore Flyer for complimentary Bus
9:30am Universal Studios
3rd Day:
9am Arrive at SG Flyer
9:30 DUKW Tour
11am Asian Civilization Museum
5:30 Night Safari
4th Day:
9:30 SG Flyer for bus to Marine SEA
12pm Food trip
5:45pm Funvee City Night Tour
5th Day:
10am Peranakan Museum
2pm Philatelic Museum
6th Day:
10am National Museum
2pm Art Museum
7th Day:
10am Mint Museum
12pm Art Science Museum
Last Day:
10am Garden By the Bay
1:30 Changi Airport for Flight home
4:45pm Flight to Manila
8pm Arrive at Manila
To save a bit of dough, I planned the whole thing carefully so I can maximize the use of the shuttles. Since I only had 2 consecutive days of “free” shuttle, I scheduled far attractions on the third and fourth day so we can use them then (and get rid of high transportation cost). We also stayed at capsule hotels for a new experience and a cheaper accommodation!
