Kimono rental is one of the experiences definitely worth trying in Japan. Renting a kimono in Japan is an incredible experience. I loved it so much that I’ve tried it thrice in different regions of Japan. For a budget traveler like me, it’s not a small sum to pay, but I do think its worth it. I take a million photos and explore as much as I can so I can milk a kimono rental’s worth of photos and experiences.
Bleach, Please is finally out! Arctic Fox has been teasing us with their bleaching kit set for forever. They released the set on November 2019 and it IMMEDIATELY sold out! I was unbelievably lucky enough to get my hands on a set. The timing could not have been more perfect. I got it right before Christmas, when my hair has been unbleached for a year now.
Marikina has been the hub of shoes since I can remember. Known for its great quality, the shoes of the Philippines was held in high esteem. The penetration of the Chinese products, however, deflated this industry. It doesn’t mean that the quality isn’t the same. Now, with the support local being on the rise, Marikina Shoes and its history is being celebrated.
Everyone has heard that you need to have these basic items to be fashionable. White tee, jeans, heels, etc etc. But what really makes or breaks the outfit are the accessories you use. Create so many outfits using just the basics AND then adding a flair here and there. You can even express different styles depending on the combination of accessories you pair with each other.
I’ve tried Manic Panic and Arctic Fox a while back. It seems fitting, that now I’ve tried Sparks, to write about it to. I mainly used the Sparks to attain a bright green hair with a tinge of blue. Now on to the comparisons.
White, oversized sleeve, statement tee worn with a pure button down denim skirt in pencil cut. Partnered with cute cat socks and white sneakers. Completed with a white sporty watch and the cutest Sailor Moon bag. I wore my hair down with a single golden hairpin on one side for a bit of style.
Black tank top and pink stole for the upper half. Flower patterned with gold accents for the sarong style full skirt for the bottom. Paired with Black and white striped heels, golden bangles, and an elephant statement necklace. For a more posh look, completed with Sunnies Audrey for the shades.
Vera Studio. Vintage. Dainty. Classy. Its an amazing place that looks like Instagram haven. With the outdoor classic backdrop of the prominent Intramuros buildings and the indoor modern ambience, you can get the best of both worlds.
Simple blue summer dress, white high heeled booties, and a pink stole used as a scarf. To accessorize, bangles on both writs, a beige woven belt on the waist, a simple golden cat necklace, and the cutest heart shaped earrings. For an even cuter outfit and completing the look, I wore my hair in in two small buns.
