Wellspring of Morocco: Argan Oil

Argan oil has been used for many purposes. Especially in beauty. It’s used in skin care, for hair, even for bug bites. My favorite use of it though is hair care. Wellspring of Morocco provides high quality argan oil which I love.

I started using Wellspring of Morocco Argan oil just a few weeks ago. I’m in the middle of my #HairRevival stint. My hair has become undeniably dead and dull and dry. The three Ds you don’t want in your life.

I’ve been doing everything. I put egg yolk mask in my hair, I shampoo with apple cider vinegar, I leave Nivea creme on my hair overnight. Now, I’ve added Argan oil into my regiment and it fits in seamlessly.

I love how Wellspring of Morocco smells faintly earthy instead of flowery. It is a neutral scent and very pleasant to my nose. It’s not the usual overpowering flowery scent, so it’s great!

Unlike creams, it’s also light and you don’t need to use a lot for it to cover the full length of my tresses. And it also doesn’t leave white, sticky, gooey stuff on my hands after application. Just slick oil that is super easy to wash off.

I use argan oil on my hair two ways. The first is I use it as an overnight deep conditioning treatment, once or twice a week. I use around a teaspoon for my full length of hair. Believe me, my hair is still thick. Plus, my hair is waist length long. A little teaspoon of oil for a night goes a long way. When I shower after. Wow. It’s like I went to the salon to have it rejuvenated.

My second use for it is as a leave in conditioner. Use around half or less of what I use for the first use. It makes combig your hair so much easier. If you have damaged and falling hair, you know that a lot of the hair that falls is caused by the tangles when you brush your hair. Since it’s dry, it gets caught up on the other hair starnds and when you apply force, SNAP! off comes your hair.

The Wellspring of Morocco Argan oil makes it super smooth to comb so less falling hair. Yey!

Please do note not to use a lot of oil on your hair. It would get too slick and flat. Plus, if you dont wash it out properly, it can leave your scalp with dandruff. Use the oil sparingly. Its like a miracle oil, so a little really goes a long way.

That’s how I regularly do it so it’s not too oily! Sometimes, I do it after showering if I want a shinier look. Or leave it on overnight so it soaks through my hair follicles. 😀
